An LVK 5MWh heavy-duty BESS container with 500kW STS and 3MWp PV powering a remote Nigerian gold mine's 24-hour crushing and excavation operations.

Customer Needs

The mine is situated in a remote area without grid access, yet heavy-duty crushers and excavation equipment require continuous 24-hour operation. Long-distance diesel transport is costly. Furthermore, the startup and shutdown of heavy equipment generate massive current surges; these frequently caused the diesel generators to trip due to instantaneous overload, resulting in unexpected production shutdowns across the entire mine.
